Antarctic Forum roundtable held

Eco Forum Global 2013 Guiyang “Antarctic Forum roundtable: Enlightenment from Antarctic” was held in Guiyang International Eco-conference Center in July 20^th. Jeffrey Sachs, the director of Earth Research Center of Columbia University and special counselor of the former UN Secretary General Kofi Atta Annan and Ban, Ki-moon made a speech. Zhang Haikun, CEO of Qucheng Network Technology Service Outsourcing Co., Ltd hosted the conference.

Academician of European Academy of Sciences and former Chinese ambassador to France Wu Jianmin made a speech on . President of City University of HongKong, foreign member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, member of the National Academy of Engineering and member of the Academia Sinica and International Academy of Quality Kuo Way gave a lecture on issues of radiation around the world.
 

During the conference, guests including vice president of Chinese Culture Research Institute Guo Zhaojin, counselor of State Council Tang Min, Professor of Columbia University Arthur and Yuan Xiaojun made a deep discussion on the issues like politics, economy, polar science research and climate change. They also reached a consensus on protecting Antarctic and reasonably developing Antarctic tourism resources.
